MNP #124 – ACN – Company Review

My reviews are based on some basic business concepts, market evaluation, compensation plans, products and services and long term potential. I do not provide a fair rating to companies that have limited growth or short life spam expectations! As you may know hundreds of companies fail and close shop every year, and with them many distributors get hurt and lose a lot of money, so I will be very honest on my findings.

ACN is a 15+ year old MLM company based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan. They started out in 1993 as a competitor to Excel selling long distance. Today they operate in 20 countries with a variety of products including cell phone service, home security, satellite TV, internet and of course long distance. All this sounds good but let’s take a look to see if ACN INC. is really a legit network marketing opportunity. I don’t treat any companies as a SCAM, the ones that are in that field will not be reviewed here!

MNP #109 Burn your Television – The Electronic Income Reducer!

I am not saying having a TV or watching TV is all bad, far from it, I mean we have 4 in our house! But it’s what we do with it that matters!

We have to be real here, TV shows nowadays tend to stray towards the negative to the extreme negative; If you have children you seriously need to pay attention to what they can end up watching during “core ” hours, the level of obscene, negativity, nudity and so on is just everywhere!

There are still great educational, entertaining and uplifting things to watch, but it needs some planning. We record a lot of the good shows, so that when we do spend some time (as few as possible) we do it watching something good!

Too many Linkedin users think spending 5 minutes to upload their photo and fill in some basic info is all you need to do to have connection requests rolling in the door..

The harsh reality is that members of LinkedIN are not the same has Facebook, the average LinkedIN user makes over $100,000 per year, he/she is a professional and is actively looking to network for true business reason!

You mean I need to do more, well YES, but not just anything, I always say, do not re-invent the wheel! Others have come before you and are doing this right, do you know what they do?

MNP #54 – Direct Sales Tips – The Best Direct Sales Companies

Are you thinking about getting in to direct selling? Are you already in direct selling and not sure if you are representing a great direct selling company?

Good direct sales companies are few and far between, so let me give you a list of qualities to look for when looking for good direct sales companies.

Good compensation plan – Of course this is number 1 on our list, if you aren’t making a decent income off of each sale, then it is going to take a lot more work just to make a decent income. Think about it this way… if you make $1.00 off of each widget you sell for company A, and you make $5.00 off of each widget you sell for company B… you have to sell 5 widgets with company A just to make as much as you would if you sold 1 widget with company B. Also look at the compensation you get from your downline (people joined under you). This is very important because a successful team under you can provide a very lucrative income in itself. Then again many will say that this is not the first point to evaluate!

First let me start by saying that there are no secrets to building a strong MLM business, there is no Secret or special system that only a few lucky individual know! I have over the years built some great organizations, of course you need to be building your business with a company you trust, a leadership that supports you, a product or service that connects with you ! and this sometimes can change, and you may have to start over!

But even if you do start over, the basic activities are the same, every time someone tells me they are not getting results, I go through this list and sure enough 1 or more of these steps are being put aside or forgotten!
