You have likely heard the saying growing up or you may have caught yourself tell your kids “Money Doesn’t Grow On Trees”.
The question is, if it would, what would you do?

When you become a member of a Network Marketing company and start your own multi level marketing business, you may find it confusing at first. After all, you are not just selling the product, promoting the service, you are trying to sell the opportunity, as well. This is where many people get frustrated. Do they concentrate on the products or concentrate on the opportunity?

Great tip from Jack Canfield, I have been using this technique for years, I would add, write down 3 main things you need to get done tomorrow! Writing the things to do becomes an engagement with yourself, and allows you to visit the next night and celebrate if they are completed!
Get It Done !

People continue to make the same mistakes when it comes to prospecting people and why. I am going to share with you what I consider the worst type of people to approach when it comes to your network marketing business opportunity. Something that was told to me a long time ago, and like many of you learned the hard way!

Have you ever had the experience of getting poor service somewhere, and when you call out the person providing that service, they respond with “That’s the way we do it or that’s the policy”, even though that makes no sense at all!
I love this clip from Larry Winget, I had the chance to meet Larry at a convention last year, I really love his black & white approach, it is honest, blunt and direct…but most of all, he’s right….

Decades ago, while attending a Jim Rohn seminar, he said something that really resonated with me, he said “if you want to grow and improve, learn to work as hard on yourself, as you do on your job”.
That one phrase led me to start the journey of personal development, from attending seminars, to listening to tapes, watching DVD’s and reading books; another quote that was also profound was “Leaders are readers, and Readers and Leaders”.

When I was in my early 20′s, I had made a goal to read 1 book a month and attend 1 conference on personal development a year. Reading a book a month was a huge challenge, has I found it difficult to stay concentrated for more then 1 hour when reading, then in 1985 I attended a conference by Jim Rohn, from phrase to phrase I was hooked, I could not take notes fast enough to retain all the great teachings he was providing, a few things he said though really landed with me.
